I bought this for two items that I wash and then have trouble drying: reusable bags and water bottles. I love my reusable bags, but it has been a pain to get them dry afterwards since they want to close and not allow the water to escape. Draping the open bag over two or three of the prongs of this device allows the bag to dry thoroughly in order to avoid bacterial growth. The water bottles used to tip over all the time set on my other drying rack. Placing them on the prongs of this rack works so much better to get them dry without having them tip over and clatter to the floor. I was worried about how useful these would be when I opened them to find the cheap-feeling plastic. However, I have been pleasantly surprised by their performance and that they haven’t had pieces break off. If I were to try to use it for propping up heavier items like serving dishes and pots/pans, I’m sure there would be a problem. For the specific problem items I mentioned, though, this completely solves the issues. Also, it folds flat when not in use, so I can tuck it into a kitchen drawer without it taking up much space at all.
