BK Products Single Control Replacement Stem 12 in. L For Sillcock Valves

First, don’t leave a hose connected to a frost free hose bib over the winter. I had two fail this past winter because SOMEONE left hoses connected to them.Second, this stem fixed my issue even though I ended up not actually using the stem part. The issue is that the stem was too long for my applications. The manufacturer made frost free hose bibs in like 3 different lengths, and this was too long. As the stem never really goes bad it would be nice if they just sold a cartridge kit. Anyway I removed the new cartridge and replaced my defective one with it and replaced the two other seals and two metal washers with the new parts. Total replacement time was maybe 10 minutes. An easy job only requiring a #2 Philips screwdriver and an adjustable or 15/16″ wrench. Overall I’m quite happy as now this doesn’t leak. Gave 4 instead of 5 stars for lack of size description.
