I needed a Bolt extractor to remove a completely rounded off, Oil Pan Drain Plug Bolt. After spraying around the Drain Plug Bolt with WD-40, and letting that soak in overnight, I tapped the appropriate sized Bolt extractor onto the rounded off Drain Plug Bolt, with a small Hammer. Then I slipped my Socket Wrench into the Bolt Extractor, and applied steady, firm pressure, to unscrew the stuck Drain Plug Bolt. It came right out!These Bolt extractors really have a strong “ Bite,” with their sharpened, hardened Steel, Reverse Cutters. That allows their grip on the Stripped Bolt Head, to become stronger, as you apply pressure to unscrew your Bolt.These Bolt extractors saved me from having to take my Truck to a Shop, and get gouged for a couple hundred Bucks, to get that Bolt removed, or even more expensive, to have the Oil Sump Pan replaced.These Bolt Extractors are a bargain, at under $20.00.
