You will need a silicone gun, a small scraper, a sharp knife, a pair of gloves and time to do the job right. Cut the top of the silicone tube. Insert the tube into the silicone gun. Install the applicator head. Cut a small hole in the applicator head and start applying the sealer to the gap until the gap looks full. With a small scraper remove all the excess silicone from the surface.  The coat of silicone has to be level with the floor and has to be smooth as well. If you notice some air bubbles or imperfections, apply more silicone. The drying time can vary from floor to floor but you should expect 2-5 hours depending on ventilation.
