Arrowhead PK8012 Replacement Stem for 12-Inch 450 and 480 Series FF Hydrants, 16-Inch Total Length

Works great and stopped the leak. Be sure to watch the size. This picture is of the stem I pulled originally, and the replacement was the same size. It’s not quite 16 inches in total length like the description says.There are some nuances, but nothing that can’t be fixed:1) Like other reviewers have said, the back metal square thing is too big. I just carefully used a hand file until it fit.2) the part where the handle connects isn’t tapped for the screw. I guess the replacement screw that comes with the Arrowhead handle is a self tapping screw. It’s pretty hard to tap something so small. That took a while to cut the threads but it also works fine now.3) It required a decent amount of force to turn it off the first time. Be sure to use a little silicone paste on the rubber washer but some people may need the valve seat to be fixed or replaced. If the valve seat is too far gone, the only option you have it to just replace the whole thing.
